Safety Shoes
OSHA Regulation: (29 CFR 1910.136(a) states: “The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses protective footwear when working in areas where there is a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects, or objects piercing the sole, or when the use of protective footwear protects the affected employee from an electrical hazard, such as a static-discharge or electric-shock hazard, that remains after the employer takes other necessary protective measures.”

Welding Specific Safety Equipment
Safety equipment specific to welding include; a welding helmet, welding gloves, flame resistant wear, and respiratory protection. Additionally required measures are ventilation from fumes, proper handling of flammable materials, and fire safety procedures including proper fire extinguishing as equipment outlined in OSHA Regulation: (29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(ii).
